Letter was aimed at mayor, council In his letter to the editor last week, Sam Ketchum made a good mouthpiece for the people whose agenda is to replace the mayor and current city council members so they can get control of spending public dollars again. To suggest that families of veterans were disappointed because elected city council members didn't close their business doors to attend Roy James' memorial service to veterans, is another attempt to find any and everything to criticize elected city officials. What better person to represent the people who are looking for handouts than Sam Ketchum, a man who flew into town on wings of Explorer Aircraft. He speaks for John Matthews, Roy James, Tom McClurg and the Chamber of Commerce board who think they are entitled to hotel/motel tax dollars. Call it whatever you want, it's all about money. These people want their "friends" on city council so they can control public dollars to spend on their pet projects. They don't fool anybody. |
