Despite the freezing temperatures last Friday evening, many braved the cold weather to attend the Jasper-Lake Sam Rayburn Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade through downtown Jasper. From carolers to queens to a visit from Santa Claus, many turned out for the annual event that kicks off the holiday season for the Jasper area. Advantage Plus Homecare was chosen as Most Creative float while KJAS Radio won for best use of theme, “A Texas Christmas.”
