Family and friends are invited to a reception Dec. 23 from 2-4 p.m. at the Belle Jim Hotel to honor and celebrate 50 years of marriage for Herman and Bobbie Wilcox

The couple was married Dec. 22, 1956 in Merryville, La.

They have three children, Cindy Tanner of Lumberton, Dr. Vicky Spencer of Conroe and Robert Wilcox of Roundrock, and seven grandchildren.
