DETCOG honors Adams

Bobby Adams was named DETCOG (Deep East Texas Council of Governments) employee of the year at the annual Christmas luncheon at St. Michael’s Catholic Church last week.

Executive director Walter Diggles presented Adams the award in recognition of his work on the DETCOG Area Agency on Aging.

Diggles said Adams was described by coworkers as “having never met a stranger...never says ‘no’ to any task.”
