January school board appreciation month

January is School Board Appreciation Month in Texas. Jasper Independent School District will show their appreciation to all current members at the board meeting Monday, Jan. 8, 6:30 p.m. in the high school Fine Arts auditorium. Each of the JISD campuses

and the child nutrition department and athletic department have drawn from board members’ names for special events in January.

Students who excelled in fall extracurricular activities will also be recognized by the board.
