Ebenezer Cemetery

The Ebenezer Cemetery Association winter work day will be Saturday, Jan. 13. Come early and bring hoes, rakes, shovels, gas leaf blowers, hedge trimmers and any other garden tool to clean up the memorial garden.

COGIC revival

David Diggles, pastor of of the S.O.W. Ministries of Dallas, and Reginald Williams, associate minister of Seed of Faith Family Worship Center of Woodville, will conduct a revival at First Church of God in Christ Jan. 24-26 at 7 p.m. nightly.

Food pantry

Community Center Church of God in Christ of Call has opened a "Community Center Food Pantry" for Jasper and Newton on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. To find out eligibility stop by or call the church at 423- 6117or Milton Hughey at 423-4103 or Morris Hafford at 384-8781.

Spanish ministry

Tanglewood Baptist Church sponsors a Hispanic Mission, Mission Bautista Calvario in Jasper. Worship services are 9:45 a.m. Sunday mornings and Bible study and prayer services are Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. For more information call 384- 4727 or Enrique Perez at 489-9417.

Men's breakfast

First United Methodist Church hosts a men's breakfast every Wednesday at 7 a.m. in the Frank Ealand Hall of the church. A home-style country breakfast is served along with a devotional message and prayer time. The breakfast costs $2. For more information, call 384-5735.
