Holton engaged to Spear; February wedding in La.

Mark and Linda Holton of Hanville, La., announce the engagement of their daughter Brandy Nicole Holton to David Edward Spear.

The bride-elect's grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Grady Holton of Jasper.

The groom-elect's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Spear of LaPlas, La., and grandparents are Jerry Barber and Susanne Morgan.

The wedding is set for Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Luling, La.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Nicholls State University and she is employed as a registered nurse.

The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of East St. Johns High School. He will graduate in May 2007 with a bachelors degree in Christian ministry.
