Elmer LaRone Bean, 49, of Silsbee died Dec. 25 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services were held Dec. 30 at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Kirbyville with burial following in West Green Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Coleman's Mortuary of Jasper.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Bean of Silsbee; sons, Stacey Shoulders of Beaumont, Korey Jackson of Kirbyville and Lonnie Foster of Silsbee; daughter Kenisha Hubbard of Kirbyville; mother Sam Ester Bean of Kirbyville; brother Garry D. Bean of Katy and three grandchildren.

Craven Hillis Brooks

Craven Hillis Brooks, 82, of Wiergate died Dec. 25 at Timberlake Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services were held Dec. 30 at Pleasant Hill CME Church in Wiergate with burial following in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Coleman's Mortuary.

Survivors include step daughter Rose Mary Carter of Ft. Worth; brother Booker T. Brooks of Wiergate; sisters Mattie Booker of Wiergate and Lessie Strahan White of Abilene.

Molly Byerly Davis

Molly Byerly Davis, 84, of Jasper died Jan. 3 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Jan. 6 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with burial following at Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper.

Survivors include son John Wesley Davis of Jasper; daughters Willie Dianne Cox and Molly Marie Thacker, both of Jasper; brother Rufus Byerly of Jasper; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

William Marvin Honeycutt

William Marvin Honeycutt, 61, of Hemphill died on Jan. 3 at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill.

Funeral services were held Jan. 5 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill with burial following at Myrtle Springs Cemetery.

Survivors include sons Wayne Honeycutt and Toby Honeycutt, both of Hemphill, Bryan Honeycutt of Angleton and Greg Malone of Jasper; father A.M. "Boss" Honeycutt of Hemphill; sisters Wanna Clark and Lois Cooper, both of Vidor, and Betty Dunn of Belton; eight grandchildren and one greatgranchild.

Nita Bates Martindale

Nita Bates Martindale, 34, of China died Jan. 4 at her home.

Graveside services were held Jan. 5 at Little Hope Cemetery under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper.

Survivors include parents Jack and Virginia Bates; brothers, Jack Bates and Joey Bates, formerly of Jasper; and sister Jana Wagstaff, formerly of Jasper.

Johanna Miles

Johanna Miles, 87, of Kirbyville died Jan. 1 at her residence in Kirbyville.

Burial services were held Jan. 6 at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Kirbyville with burial following in West Green Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Coleman's Mortuary of Jasper.

Survivors include sons Richard Miles and Harold Miles, both of Houston; daughters Glenda Norman and Beatrice Law, both of Crosby, Carrie Hamilton, Patricia Miles, Diane Howard and Cynthia Miles, all of Houston; brother, Joe Nathan Lee of Bon Wier; 13 grand children and 11 greatgrandchildren.

Pattie Alma Reed

Pattie Alma Reed, 81, of Jasper did Jan. 8 at Corner Stone Hospital in Sulphur, La.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 10, at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, with burial following in Brookeland Cemetery.

Survivors include husband E. H. Reed of Jasper; sons Eddie W. Reed and Gene Reed, both of Orange, and Doug Reed of Brookeland; brothers N.A. McKinney of Star City, Ark., H.M. McKinney of Brookeland; sister Lorice Huntley of Dayton; seven grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.

Frances Ann Rhame

Frances Ann Rhame, 71, of Jasper died Dec. 24 at her residence in Jasper.

Funeral services will be held Jan. 13 at Weeks Chapel with interment at Weeks Chapel under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.

Survivors include sons Steve Hoagland of Jasper and Dan Hoagland of Zavalla; daughter Candace Rhame of Jasper; sister Shirley Bates of Odessa; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Edgar Earl Warren

Edgar Earl Warren, 75, of Jasper died Dec. 23 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Dec. 30 at the Light House Church of God In Christ in Jasper with burial following in the Jasper City Cemetery under the direction of Coleman Mortuary in Jasper.

Survivors include wife Carolyn A. Warren of Jasper; sons Edgar Earl Warren Jr. of Kountze, Henry Warren and Ray Warren, both of Lufkin, Milton Warren of Crockett, and Corey Warren of Huntsville; step sons, Terry McClain and Kenneth McClain, both of Sour Lake; brothers, Charles R. Warren of Dallas, Elvin Warren of Kountze and James O. Warren of Crockett; sisters, Bobbie Brown, Ora Jean Riggins, Joyce White and Paulene Simon, all of Crockett, and Shirley White of Houston; 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three step grandchildren.

Vada Byerly Craig Williamson

Vada Byerly Craig Williamson, 85, of Woodville died Dec. 28 at Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin.

Funeral services were held Jan. 31 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Pinehill Cemetery in Hemphill.

Survivors include her son Charles Craig of Houston; daughters Sue Horton of Woodville, Melba Broussard of Houston and Barbara Strickland of Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
