Bits of Faith Musical ministry The Hall Girls (Lesley and Lindsey) Southern Country Gospel singers from Florida will sing at First United Methodist Church Jan. 21 at 10:45 a.m. New music minister First Baptist Church of Jasper recently announced the music minister search committee has selected John Woodrow "Woody" Wade. Wade has a masters of religious education from Southwestern Theological Seminary and 27 years experience in the ministry. Day school Children in the First Baptist Kindergarten class will travel to Beaumont for a concert Jan. 23 called "Wild for Learning" and the children will dress for a safari. Grandparents Day Chapel will be Jan. 31. COGIC revival David Diggles, pastor of of the S.O.W. Ministries of Dallas, and Reginald Williams, associate minister of Seed of Faith Family Worship Center of Woodville, will conduct a revival at First Church of God in Christ Jan. 24-26 at 7 p.m. nightly. Evergreen breakfast The Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church annual men's day breakfast will be Saturday, Jan. 27, at 9 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Cedric Hafford will be special guest. The annual celebration continues Sunday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m. with John D. Hardin and the Mount Olive Baptist Church as special guests. Miracles and signs Evangelist Steve Sampson has reserved the First National Bank community room Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 18 at 3 p.m., and the Lions Club community room Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. Sampson is from Birmingham, Ala. and has appeared on Trinity Broadcast Network. First Baptist classes Ladies Bible Study meets at 5:45 p.m. in the activity building Monday nights and at 9:30 a.m. in the young couples classroom on Thursday mornings at First Baptist Church in Jasper. Men's breakfast First United Methodist Church hosts a men's breakfast every Wednesday at 7 a.m. in the Frank Ealand Hall of the church.
