DAR chooses high school seniors for good citizen awards

The Daniel Witcher Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has recently selected the winners of the DAR Good Citizen program and scholarship contest.

The Jasper chapter will honor these high school seniors at a luncheon at the Belle Jim Hotel Feb. 17:

Kyle Coker of Newton; Melissa Garess of Woodville; Kaitlin Tharp of Kirbyville; Cameron Westbrook of Burkeville.

Students were selected based on dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
