Shaver

Jasper High School

Jake Shaver has been selected as Jasper High School's student of the week for Jan. 22-26.

"Jake always shows strong leadership qualities in all that he does. He is a strong member and leader in his leadership class, drum captain in the JHS band, president of the National Honor Society and a member of the broadcast journalism class. Jake always has a positive attitude, is willing to help out his classmates and teachers and stays involved in JHS activities," according to recommending teacher Kerri Mixon.

Shaver is the son of Jerry and Lorri Shaver.

Jasper Junior High

Quintella Robert, a seventh grade student at Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for Jan. 22-26.

"Quintella is a very good student. She's always cooperative and does her best. She will help me whenever I ask and also helps her classmates," said teacher Debbie Simmons. "Quintella sets a good example in the classroom for others to follow."

Robert enjoys participating in several sports and listening to music during her spare time. Her favorite subject is math.
