Tri-County Community Action, Inc. will be taking applications under the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) beginning Jan. 30, for the new program year assisting low-income families.

Participants must qualify by CEAP requirements, not just income. Prioritization of applications and appointments will be processed and notification of eligibility will be given as soon as possible based on income, individual needs and funding release.

Assistant may not be given directly after application. Applicants are responsible for the following information:

Proof of income (last 30 days) - all household 18 years of age or older and/or proof of "0" income.

Gas and electronic consumption for last 12 months.

Receipts of monthly expenses will be requested.

Birthdates of all household members

Applicants must know exact directions to their home, county road, etc.

All information must be available at appointment date-time to process properly through our computer system.

Failure to be on time may result (unless emergency) in delay or denial of assistance.
