Gunter engaged to wed Clotiaux

Gary and Caren Gunter of Sulphur, La., announce the engagement of their daughter Julie Ann Gunter of Sulphur to Olin Gene Clotiaux of Port Neches.

The bride-elect's grandparents are Johnny and Juanita Norwood and Dave and Blanche Gunter, all deceased.

The groom-elect is the son of Reagan and Faith Clotiaux of Jasper, and grandson of Frank and Myrhl Frazier of Nederland, Jane Clotiaux of Jasper and the late Olin Clotiaux.

The wedding date is set for Sept. 8 in Lake Charles, La.

The bride-elect attended McNeese State University and graduated from the Lamar Institute of Technology and is employed as a dental hygienist.

The groom-elect attended Blinn Junior College, Lamar University and the Lamar Institute of Technology and is employed at Philpott Motors.
