Orville E. Wilder

Orville E. Wilder, 84, of Sam Rayburn died Feb. 2 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital. There were no funeral services. His remains were cremated under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home.

Survivors include wife DeLoyce Wilder of Sam Rayburn; step-daughter Susan Smith of Sam Rayburn; brother Hubert Thorton Wilder of Beeville; and 10 step-grandchildren.

James Delbert Wright

James Delbert "Happy" Wright, 95, died Feb. 3 in Dallas. Funeral services were held Feb. 5 at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial following in Madras Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include wife Doris Wright of Jasper; five sisters and two brothers; son Jim and daughter Carolyn; and three grandchildren.
