Kids practice show techniques at Bash

The first annual Winter Bash junior livestock show will be held this Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Jasper County show barn on FM 777 near the airport.

Check-in starts at 7 a.m. and the show begins at 9 a.m. Categories include steers, breeding beef, goats, lambs and swine. Entry fee is $20.

Organizer Joan Ferguson said the show gives kids and their animals the practice they need for upcoming rodeo and livestock events. For more information, call 489-6191.
