L.C. Brack

L.C. Brack, 73, of Roganville died Feb. 7 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral services were held Feb. 10 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home with a Masonic graveside service following at Friendship Cemetery in Roganville.

Survivors include wife Doris Brasher Brack of Roganville; sons Frank Brack of Vidor, Ted Brack of Houston and Jeff Brack of Mauriceville; brother Coy Brack of Groves and eight grandchildren.

Vivian Sturrock Hicks Hausler

Vivian Sturrock Hicks Hausler, 79, of Jasper died Feb. 1 at Woodland Heights Hospital in Lufkin.

Funeral services were held Feb. 4 at Anahuac Cemetery in Anahuac, under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home.

Survivors include husband Roger D. Hausler; son Gary R. Hicks of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter Penny Hicks Owens of Etoile; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Willette Land

Willette Land, 95, of Jasper died Feb. 2 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Feb. 10 at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church with burial following at the Jasper City Cemetery under the direction of Coleman's Mortuary.

Survivors include sons Theophilus Land of Parland and Robert Land of Chicago, Ill.; daughter Imogene Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dorothy Holmes of Jasper; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Sadie McFarland

Sadie McFarland, 96, of Jasper died Feb. 9 at her residence in Jasper.

Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with burial following at the Gilgal Cemetery in Jasper under the direction of Robinson Community Funeral Home.

Survivors include sons M.E. McFarland and Sam Forward, both of Jasper; daughter Alice Faye Cooper of Jasper; brother T.J. Limbrick of Lufkin; 25 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Mary Wheeler Richardson

Mary Wheeler Richardson, 84, of Jasper died Feb. 5 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont.

Funeral services were held Feb. 8 at First Presbyterian Church in Jasper with graveside services at the Old Hardin Cemetery near Kountze under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home.

Survivors include husband C.W. "Shorty" Richardson of Westwood Community; sons Wayne Richardson of Mauriceville and Donnie Richardson of Nederland; daughters Judy Arnold of Beaumont and Connie Clour of Mauriceville; brothers Edwin Wheeler of Beaumont and Mike Wheeler of Burleson; sister Loma Lee Stratton of Concord Ridge; eight grandchildren and 11 grandchildren.
