Mays to play All- Region orchestra

Justin Mays, a seventh grade student at Jasper Junior High, will play trombone for the 2007 All-Region orchestra.

Mays placed sixth in the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) tryouts for class 5A schools in December.

Mays, 12, also enjoys sports. He is the son of Billie Joe Mays Jr. and Lisa Mays, and the grandson of Earnestine and Billie Joe Mays Sr.
