Hilltop Baptist Church will hold a 42 tournament Saturday, March 10, 1-5 p.m. in the fellowship hall. From Jasper take U.S. Highway 190 West of the caution light at Dam B, top of the hill.

Gospel singing

Adams Chapel True Light Holiness Church on Hi Truitt Road in Jasper will host the New Chosen Gospel Singers from Beaumont March 10 at 7:30 p.m.

The Lone Star Baptist Missionary Association of Texas annual spring revival will be March 13-15 at 7:15 p.m. nightly at the Lone Star Association Church.

First United Methodist Church in Newton will host a Christian program No More Chains by the group STANDOUT March 15 at 7 p.m. Pepper and Brent Noble of Newton are sponsoring the program for all youth.

The United Methodist Men and the Burkeville Ministerial Alliance will hold their monthly community prayer breakfast Tuesday, March 20, at 8 a.m. at Burkeville United Methodist Church. Guest speaker will be Newton librarian Sharon Long.
