Firedogsm offers big prizes for fire essays

If you want a chance to brag about your local fire department and win your local volunteers and yourself some goodies, Circuit City has a contest for you.

The new firedogsm has launched a nationwide campaign to honor America's firefighters. They will award a $100,000 grand prize plus ten $20,000 prizes to firehouses selected based on an essay contest.

"This program will give communities across the nation a chance to express their gratitude and help ensure their firefighters receive the public recognition and financial support they deserve," New York Mayor Rudy Giulani said.

In addition to awards to fire departments, each winning essay writer will receive $10,000 in electronics and firedog services from Circuit City.
