Uplifting experience
TWO FIREMEN WERE THROWN for a loop when an old Luxford carbon dioxide cylinder blew up during a fire. This pressurized bottle was peeled open like an orange when it superheated in the fire. It blew out the back wall of the building with enough force that pictures fell off the wall in the house next door, according to deputy fire chief Bob Gary. Moral of the story: dispose of hazardous materials; don't leave them where they may do harm.
