Sample many flavors of Jasper at Pilot Club event

Where else can you sample fare from more than a dozen of Jasper's favorite restaurants, all in one spot, for only $8.50 per person?

The 12th annual Taste of Jasper will be 5-8 p.m. at the Wesley Center on Bowie Street in Jasper.

Dot Scheibe of Shy-Bee lighting reported sixteen participants confirmed as of last Friday, March 9, but they have a few more who will probably join the fun.

So far, the list includes Belle Jim Hotel, Lone Star Buffet, Beaumont Coca Cola, Elijah's Cafe, Golden Corral, Little Ceasar's Pizza, Novrosky's, Tamollie's, Popeye's Fried Chicken, Wal-Mart Bakery and Deli, Mark Hughes Catering, Coffee Time, Shelton's Barbecue, Hamburger Depot, Casa Ole, Wings Over Jasper and Buck Springs Water.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Pilot Club of Jasper and all the projects they support.
