Barbara Jean Shumaker Bryan

Barbara Jean Shumaker Bryan, 63, of Brookeland died March 6 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services were held March 10 at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper with burial at Mansfield Cemetery in Vidor.

Survivors include daughter Brenda Jean Corliss Lowe of Brookeland; parents Mr. and Mrs. Roland Webber of Brookeland, brother William Todd Shumaker of Pasadena; and three grandchildren.

Carl Conner

Carl Conner, 70, of Roganville died March 10 at his home. Military graveside services will be held today, March 14, at 1 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Roganville under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home of Jasper.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Conner of Roganville.

Nola Fae Brink Everett

Nola Fae Brink Everett, 85, of Newton died March 7 at Shady Acres Nursing Home in Newton. Funeral services were held March 9 at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper with burial at Coleman City Cemetery.

Survivors include husband Jack Everett of Newton; daughter Janice Mixon of Jasper; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Henry A. Monte Jr.

Henry A. Monte Jr., 85, of Jasper died March 6 at Dickerson Memorial Hospital. Memorial funeral services will be held March 15 at 2 p.m. at Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper with private interment services to follow at West Oaks Cemetery.

Suvivors include sons Michael Monte of Nederland and Nicky Monte of Port Neches.
