Noemy Navarrete

Noemy Navarrete, a seventh grade student at Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for March 26-30.

"Noemy is a joy to have in class. she is well-mannered, kind and cooperative, and she gives 100 percent effort to all that she does," said teacher Phyllys Morian. "She is supportive and helpful to the members of our class, and it is my pleasure to nominate her as "Student of the Week'."

Navarrete enjoys participating in several sports.

Her favorite subject is math. She is the daughter of Martin and Luz Navarrete. Jasper High School Stephanie Bryant is Jasper High School's student of the week for March 19-23.

"Stephanie is a dedicated student who is willing to take on the challenges of higher learning. As most students in senior English are preparing to begin the greater challenge of independent learning as they begin college class, Stephanie recognized the need to dig deeper and seek to understand on her own. Her willingness to put forth the extra effort required of her has made a difference for many other students who recognized, in her efforts, that they too could rise to the requirement of learning for themselves. Stephanie is an asset in class and a student that teachers and students alike can admire," said Becky French.
