Go Texans and Tailor Made Band at Rodeo
Jasper well represented at Houston Show

Courtesy photo THE JASPER COUNTY AREA GO TEXAN cook team showed city folk how to do barbecue right.They brought home three trophies from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo World's Champion Bar-B-Que contest. Jasper's own Tailor Made Band (TMB) played the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Barbecue Cook Off recently. They introduced their new sax man, Link Davis Jr., a three time Grammy Award winner.

Cecil Wright and the Jasper County Go Texan Team won grand champion in the chicken category, grand champion Go Texan and second runner up overall, out of 372 teams competing.

TMB will perform April 6 at 8 p.m. at Banita Creek Hall in Nacogdoches, and opening night May 9 at the Jasper Lions' Club Rodeo.
