Errors lead Lady Tigers to easy 9-3 district win

      Friday was a night of errors against Silsbee. The Jasper Lady Bulldog softball team lost 9-3 after a series of errors that began in the fifth inning. The score was 2-1 going into the fifth when infield errors cost Jasper three additional runs.

      JASPER PLACED two players on the District 21-3A All-District basketball squad as it was released recently. Freshman Dominique Bailey, above, was named to the first-team squad while Roman Land, below, was named to the second-team squad.

Brookland earns selections on all-district teams
      Brookeland placed five boys on the District 27-A All-District squad while the girls garnered five spots as well. For the boys, Brookeland placed Tommy Smith, Justin Bentley and Zack Garrett on the team while Kendall Garrett and Casey Lopez gained honorable mention nods.
