Holton weds Spear, cruises Caribbean

Mr. and Mrs. David Spear
Brandy Nicole Holton of Hahnville, LA., wed David Spear of Laplace, LA., Feb. 10 in Luling, LA.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Lisa Holton of Hahnville, LA., and granddaughter of Grady and Elizabeth Holton of Jasper and Jerry Barber and Suzanne Morgan of Jacksonville.

The groom is the son of Kenny and Sherrill Spear of Laplace, LA., and the grandson of Alvin and Adrienne Spear and Johan Gill, all of Biloxi, MS.

Julie Giallios of Abita Springs, LA., served as matron of honor. Erin Favre of Baton Rouge, LA., Amanda Theriot of Waggaman, LA., Jessica Turner of Harahan, LA., and Hailey Salyer of Friendswood were bride's attendants. Malia Munn of Monroe, LA., was flower girl.

The bride wore a white silk strapless floor-length gown with a train and a tothe floor veil. Attendants work black silk strapless floor-length gowns.

It was a candle-lit ceremony with bridesmaids' bouquets made of pink roses. The musical selection was "Canon in D, Jesus Joy of Man's Desiring."

Jesse Spear of Biloxi, MS., served as best man. Jason Bourgeois of Biloxi, MS., Justin LeBlanc and Chandler Smith, both of Baton Rouge, LA., served as groomsmen. Caleb Salyer of Friendswood and Craig Howze of Biloxi, MS., were ushers.

The reception was held at the Colonial Country Club in New Orleans, LA.

Members of the house party were Alicia Nodier, April Carapina and Kristy Parker.

After a honeymoon trip aboard the Norwegian Cruise to the western Caribbean, the couple will make their home in Destrehan, LA.
