Vote your favorites at Taste

Jasper area restaurants will compete for bragging rights for the next year at the annual Taste of Jasper sponsored by the Pilot Club this Saturday, March 31, at Wesley Center from 5-8 p.m.

An $8.50 donation allows each person to visit booths from local restaurants and catering services to taste the best of everything. Attendees get to vote for their favorite entree, favorite dessert, the best decorated booth and a people's choice award.

Local businesses have also donated prizes for a silent auction. The Jasper Newsboy and Beaumont Enterprise donated two books, "Rita Captured" and "The Achievers: Famous South East Texans."
