Shortage of buyers slows sales at annual auction
Event still deemed a success

Following are the results from the Jasper Livestock Show and Auction held Saturday afternoon.

There was an additional $20,000 in add-ons after the sale was completed and not reflected in the auction sale price.

The hog division was one of the toughest in the show as the division had 59 entries in the show with only the top 20 making the sale. Judges for the competition called it one of the tougher to decide as many of the entries were high in quality and could have placed higher in previous shows.
