Kids can join the Easter Bunny for a parade and prizes beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at the gazebo on the courthouse square in Jasper.

The Jasper Evening Lions Club, Brookshire Brothers and KJAS Radio are sponsoring the holiday event.

The egg decorating contest is for children ages 12 and younger, and there will be prizes for the best decorated bicycle, wagon, basket and hat. Members of the Lions' Leo Club will serve as judges.

Following the awards, the Easter Bunny and Jasper Police will lead a parade down Main Street to Kiwanis Park on Water Street, where the Easter egg hunt begins at 10 a.m.
