ASCS Sprints to make first appearance of racing season

ASCS Sprints will make their first appearance of the 2007 season at Motorama Speedway this Friday, April 6. Top notch drivers wheel in from several states to compete for regional and national points in this Gulf South sprint series. The programs put on at the local speedway last year were thrill packed and always fast...VERY FAST! A local driver, Gary Watson won the '06 division championship and will once again compete before the hometown crowd.

Racing on the same program will be three of the regular Motorama classes: limited modifieds, pure stocks and mod. stocks. Also, at 7 p.m., before the races, there will be a special treat for young race fans. The track will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt. Toddlers thru 11-years-old are eligible. The hunt will take place on the grandstand side.

Motorama is located on W. Hwy. 90 between Beaumont and China. Gates open every Friday at 5 p.m. with racing underway at 8 p.m. For more information call 409- 752-7200 or visit www.motoramaspeedway. com.
