DuPont opens eighth location

DuPont Goodrich Federal Credit Union opened its eighth location on 1061 S. Wheeler St. DuPont Goodrich Federal Credit Union was founded in 1962.

DGFCU currently serves more than 23,000 members, has grown to more than $145 million in assets. They offer eight locations throughout Southeast Texas. They have won many state and national awards for their community work and teaching financial literacy to the youth.

The credit union has a wide range of mortgage products and services home equity loans, land loans, and interim construction loans. In the 2006 Beaumont Enterprise Readers' Choice Awards, DGFCU was voted Best Mortgage Provider. "We're all about people helping people. We'll go the second mile for them," said Linda Daugherty, branch manager.

They also offer business loans, commercial real estate loans, lines of credit, equipment and machinery loans and construction loans. DGFCU offers business services including corporate credit cards and merchant credit card services.
