THIS WEEKEND'S blustry cold weather brought back memories of those cold winter days as children prepared for the coming of Santa Claus.This weekend, though, children were getting ready for Easter egg hunts and the annual visit from the Easter Bunny as temperatures dipped into the 30's Saturday and Sunday. Some parts of Jasper County even recorded snow flurries.The cold weather played havoc with the Evening Lions Club annual Easter Egg hunt held Saturday but children bundled up and still hunted the eggs.
