Stanley and Rose Johnson announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Johnson, formerly of Jasper, to Matthew Watson, formerly of Jasper.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Conrad and Melba Corley and Larry and Jeanette Johnson, all of Nacogdoches.

The groom-elect is the son of Gary and Diana Watson.

The wedding is set for June 9 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Jasper.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Jasper High School and attending Stephen F. Austin State University.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Jasper High School and works for the City of Nacogdoches.
