Stockton, Ferguson announce engagement, set July 2008 date

Kent and Charley Stockton of Warren announce the engagement of their daughter, Merissa Rae Stockton of Warren, to Derek Jon Ferguson, of Jasper.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Dorothy Schisler of Bridge City and Olivet Stockton of Bridge City.

The groom-elect is the son of Jerry and Dianna Ferguson and the grandson of Herschel and Ruby Shaw, Lucille and Thomas Ferguson, of Jasper, all of Jasper.

The wedding is set for July 2008.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Warren High School and is a singer/musician.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Klein High School and works for Premier Recyclers in Jasper.
