Big win = new hairdo
EARLIER IN THE WEEK, some of the Jasper baseball players asked Head Coach Shawn Mixon if they could shave his head if they made the state playoffs. "You don't have to wait," Mixon said. "If you win Friday night, you can shave my head at home plate." Ryan Ellis came prepared. After the Bulldogs defeated Silsbee 5-2, he sat Mixon on a bucket at home plate. As his teammates crowded in to watch, he clipped Mixon down to his scalp. See Sports 1B.
