Armstrong

Jasper High School

Brandy Armstrong, a senior at Jasper High School, has been selected the student to the week for April 23 - 27.

"Brandy is a wonderful student who cares about learning and seeks to learn as much as she can in every class," said teacher Becky French. Every teacher would be glad to have such a positive influence in every class. Brandy's enthusiasm in class brings out the best of her own capabilities as well as those of her classmates. She has a positive influence on other students, and she always contributes to her class with appropriate responses in class discussions. These attributes make her a great role model for younger students."

She is the daughter of Brenda Gray.

Jasper Junior High

Casey Morgan, a seventh grade student at Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for April 23 - 27.

"Casey is always enthusiastic about whatever new assignment we may be tackling. She consistently completes assignments in a responsible manner and has no problem stepping in to help a fellow student," said teacher Lynn Betz. "Casey doesn't fall into the pattern of picking on others and will actually stand up for those who are picked upon, whether she considers them her friend or not."

Morgan

Morgan enjoys drawing during her spare time and is very involved in the youth program at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Her favorite subject is English.

She is the daughter of Keith and Deborah Morgan.
