Jackson engaged to wed Acosta at FUMC in May

Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Jackson Jr. of Jasper announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Diane Jackson, to Michael Aaron Acosta, both of Austin

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Leola Lyons Phillips of Jasper and the late Richard Lyons, Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Jackson Sr. formerly of Jasper.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Acosta Sr. of Kyle. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Acosta Jr. of Austin, Susie Recio of Lockhart and the late Rogelio Recio.

The wedding is set for May 5 at the First United Methodist Church of Jasper.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor's of Journalism. She is currently employed with Land America Austin Title in Westlake.

The groom-elect is currently an electrician apprentice participating in the Independent Electrical Contractor's apprenticeship program. He is employed by DeBusk Electric.
