Nash

Jasper High School

Mike Nash, a senior at Jasper High School, has been selected the student of the week for May 7-11.

"Mike Nash is very attentive, and he does his work on time," said teachers Joe Salvagio and Jason Schofield. "He has good grades and is very courteous. We all enjoy teaching Mike. He has many special talents and loves drawing for his friends. He is a true friend to the students of Jasper High School."

He is the son of Sibrena Adams.

Jasper Junior High

Ray Kenebrew, a seventh grade student at Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as Student of the Week for May 7-11.

"Ray is very excited about being selected as student of the week. He comes by my office each day to see if there is anything that he can do to help out. He brings a smile to my face every day," said registrar Karen Byerly.

Teacher Christina Jackson stated, "Ray works hard to please others. He has a good attitude and stays on task. I enjoy having him in class."

Kenebrew

Kenebrew enjoys listening to music and playing basketball during his spare time. Ray also enjoys singing in the youth choir at Evergreen Baptist Church. His favorite subject is English.

He is the son of Ray Kenebrew Sr. and Natasha Kenebrew.
