Meet the author at Beaty Orton Saturday

Ysidra "Sissy" Kyles, author of The Hunt is Over, will hold a book signing at the Beaty Orton House on Main Street Saturday, May 12, from 3-5 p.m.

Kyles is a Houston native who married the "man of her nightmares," a prominent bishop. In the book, she shares "her real-life battles with low self-esteem, emotional abuse and betrayal."

The Jasper Public Library and friends Paula Williams and Kim Bronson will host the meet-the-author reception.
