Glen Benton

Glen Benton, 63, of San Augustine died May 1 at Memorial Health System of East Texas in Lufkin. Services were held May 4 at Old Manning Cemetery in Angelina County under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.

Survivors include sons Anthony Weaver of Jasper, Chad Benton of New Boston, Joe Benton and Randy Weaver of Tenaha; daughters Glenda Tull of Tyler, Nicole Thompson of Gallitan, Charlotte Bowden of Silsbee, Erica Welch of San Augustine and Kristy Rankin of Escondido, CA.; sisters Leona Dykes of Zavalla, Opal Cravey of Silsbee and Thamer Gore of Spurger; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Kathryn Walker Frame

Kathryn Walker Frame, 79, of Jasper died May 3 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held May 5 at First Baptist Church of Jasper. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home.

Survivors include three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

John Rollins

John Rollins, 74, of Newton died May 2 at Shady Acres Health and Rehabilitation in Newton. Funeral services will be held May 12 at 11 a.m. at Dewey Rose Baptist Church in in Newton with burial following at Youngblood Cemetery in Newton under the direction of Robinson Community Funeral Home.

Survivors include daughter Deloise Adams of Newton; sons John Edward Rollins and James Rollins, both of Newton; sisters Earnestine Clark and Edna Davis, both of Newton; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Lou Stoma

Lou Stoma, 59, of Jasper died May 4 at her home in Jasper. Graveside funeral services were held May 6 at Little Hope Cemetery under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.

Survivors include her husband George T. Stoma; sons Jimmy Joe Stoma of Ida Belle, OK, and Keith Johnson of Center; mother Thelma Louise Davis; sisters Cozette McNeely of Longview and Betty Ann Ceal of Center; one grandchild.

Francis Paulene Wood Rosser

Francis Paulene Wood Rosser, 86, of Brookeland died May 2 at Jasper Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services were held May 5 at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper. Burial followed at Brookeland Cemetery.
