Roy Marshall of Magnolia and Kevin and Kristy Felts of Jasper announce the engagement of their daughter Kandace Marshall of Jasper to Thomas Smith of Jasper.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Roy and Faye Marshall, Bobby and Bettye Barlow of Center, and Mark and Gloria Costley of Liberty Lake, WA.

The groom-elect is the son of Thomas Smith of Newton and Steve and Kristi Hollis of Jasper, and the grandson of Joe and Dyan Jones of Kirbyville, Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Hollis of Jasper, and Barbara Sue and Bobby J. Smith of Kirbyville.

The wedding is set for 6 p.m. June 23 at the Pavilion in the Pines on U.S. Highway 96 North in Jasper.

The bride-elect is self-employed. The groom-elect works for Doyle's Production in Jasper.
