Burt Armstrong

Burt Armstrong, 85, of Jasper, died May 12 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services were held May 15 at Byerly Campground Cemetery under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home.

Survivors include daughter Becky Chasteen of San Angelo and one grandchild.

Julieta Collvins

G.C. Johnson, 86, of Sam Rayburn, died May 10 at Dickerson Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held May 12 at Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper.

Survivors include her husband Melton Collvins of Sam Rayburn; sons Danny Gueco and Zeniada Collvins, both of Wasila, AK; daughters Socorro Mirtolooi of Temecula, CA, Leonila Gueco of Austin; and Melita Rohm of San Antonio; seven grandchildren.

Sudie Conn Lee

Sudie Conn Lee, 82, of Brookeland, died May 10 at Dickerson Memorial Hospital of Jasper. Funeral services were held May 13 at North Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.

Survivors include her son Sonny Conn of Brookeland; daughters Sadie Rasberry of Livingston, Mary Lou Adkins of Jasper, Sue Conn and Carolyn Wright, both of Brookeland, and Charleen Lee of Pineland; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Lou Stoma

Lou Stoma, 59, of Jasper, died May 4 at her home. Funeral Services were held May 6 at Little Hope Cemetery under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband George T. Stoma; sons Jimmy Joe Whitby of Ida belle, OK and Keith Johnson of Center; sisters Cozette McNeely of Longview and Betty Ann Ceal of Center and one grandson.

Johnny Dale Wilson

Johnny Dale Wilson, 67, of Jasper, died May 10 at his home. Funeral services were held May 14 at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home. Burial followed at Holton Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughter Laura Phillips of Ben Wheeler, son Daylan Wilson of Huntsville; brother J.M. Wilson of Jasper; sisters Pat White of Lumberton and Jimmie Helen Gunter of Jasper; three grandchildren and a number of greatgrandchildren.
