Elizabeth Gipson of Amarillo and Franklin Gipson of Abilene announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacquelin Gipson of Jasper, to Eric Hutzell of Jasper.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothy Butler of Lubbock and the late Jack Butler.

The groom-elect is the son of Laraine Hutzell and Scott Hutzell, both of Sam Rayburn, and the grandson of Ruther Prather of Jasper and the late Clifford Prather, and Phyllis Hutzell of Austin and the late Darwin Hutzell.

The wedding is set for June 30 at 2:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Jasper.

The bride-elect graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2006 with a BA in English and a BA in political science, and is now seeking an MA in English at West Texas A&M in Canyon.

The groom-elect graduated from Sam Houston University in 2005 ands is currently employed as assistant manager at Walgreen's in Amarillo.
