Rosemon

Paul D. Rosemon

Air Force Airman Paul D. Rosemon has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

During his six weeks of training Rosemon studied the Air Force mission, organization, military customs and courtesies. He performed drill and ceremony marches, received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and training in human relations.

He is the grandson of Doris Rosemon of Bon Wier. Rosemon is a 2006 graduate of Newton High School.

Joshua P. Gray

Army Pvt. Joshua P. Gray has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values. He received instruction on physical fitness, practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training.

He practiced drill and ceremony marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map readings, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.

He is the grandson of Mary Gray and brother of Kristina Gray, both of Jasper.

Gray is a 2006 graduate of Jasper High School.
