East Texas health report online

The East Texas Community Health Needs Assessment has been completed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and several local health departments.

DSHS will present the results from 1 to 4 p.m June 8 at Tyler Junior College, West Campus, 1530 SSW Loop 323, Tyler.

"This assessment represents a major effort to document a variety of health issues in East Texas," said Dr. Paul McGaha, DSHS regional medical director in Tyler.
