Kirbyville couple to wed June 16

Jay and Belinda Durham announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Rose Cole, to Jake Arthur Walker, all of Kirbyville.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Joe Cole; the granddaughter of Madgie Sue and Edward Neff of Kirbyville, the late Bill Cole, Martha and John Jones of Kirbyville, Lucy Durham, of Huntsville, and the late J.L. Durham, and Bud and Laverne Adair of Houston. She is the greatgranddaughter of Ozell Boles of Kirbyville.

The groom-elect is the son of Johnny and Delores Walker of Kirbyville and the grandson of Jerrie and Troy Newman of Palestine, the late Odies Walker, Mollie VanPelt of Kirbyville, and the late Arthur VanPelt.

The wedding is set for June 16 at 6 p.m. at Magnolia Springs Methodist Church.

The bride-elect is a Kirbyville High School 2007 graduate and is enrolled at Angelina Junior College. She is currently employed at Avalon Place in Kirbyville.

The groom-elect is a Kirbyville High School 2005 graduate and will graduate from welding school in October 2007. He is currently employed at Gulf Coast Fabrication.
