Farewell to Lawlis
RETIRING DISTRICT 1-A JUDGE Monte Lawlis' picture now hangs in the courtroom where he presdied for almost three decades. Friends and officials gathered for the "hanging" last Friday, June 1, when lawyer Blair Bisbey presented the framed portrait from the bar association.
