4-H offers classes on how to conduct a meeting

The Jasper 4-H will offer an informal introduction to parliamentary procedures for any 4-H member in the county, according to 4-H adult adviser Dru Miller.

The class begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, upstairs in the county courthouse annex at 271 East Lamar St.

The class will be taught by Stanley Johnson from Jasper Junior High School. Weekly meetings may rotate according to his schedule, but anyone interested in attending can contact Miller at 384-5212 or county extension agent Ricky Thompson at 384-3721.
