Baytown couple plans August wedding

Carolyn Debney Dahlquist of Baytown and Michael Ray Dahlquist of Winter Springs, FL, announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Meredith Dahlquist, to Richard Brandon Thornhill, both of Baytown.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Alice Debney of Jasper, the late Alfred Debney, Jeanette Dahlquist of Fredericksburg and the late Leonard Dahlquist.

The groom-elect is the son of Jessie and Brenda Ray Thornhill of Mont Belvieu. He is the grandson of Sue Sullivan of Mont Belvieu, the late Richard Sullivan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rushion Samuel Thornhill of LA.

The wedding is set for August 11 at 5 p.m. at Old River Baptist Church in Mont Belvieu.

The bride-elect has an associates degree in health information technology from Lee College in Baytown and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Professions from the University of Texas at Tyler. She is pursuing a career in health technology.

The groom-elect attended Northlake College in Irving and earned a certificate in process technology from Lee College in Baytown. He is employed with KMCO L.P. in Crosby as a process technician.
