David C. Smith

David C. Smith, 64, of Erin died May 25 in Tyler. Funeral services were held May 29 at Erin Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Erin Cemetery under the direction of E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.

Survivors include his wife Mert Smith of Erin; son Chad David Smith of Erin; daughters April Morgan of Erin and Marsha Lowrance of San Antonio; sisters Marian Collier of Vidor, Sally Morgan of Erin and Becky Patton of Warner Robbins, GA; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Henry Ritter

Henry Ritter, 61 of Call died June 5 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Funeral services were held June 10 at Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville. Burial followed at Kirbyville Cemetery under the direction of E.E. Stringer Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife Debe Ritter of Call; his mother Thelma Baird of Call; sons Tony Ritter of Scottsville, KY ,and Jason Ritter of Call; brothers Fred Ritter of Van Buren, IN, Charles Ritter and Elvin Ritter, both of Upland, IN; sisters Bilie Jean Gustafsen and Marion Benbow, both of Gas City, IN; and six grandchildren.
